Usually when the rays of the sun attacked the sensitive flesh of a vampire, there would be dizziness perhaps attacking the mind, causing the victim to stumble before the burning began. That was when the pain began to and it was likely that you would be there for a while as you burnt to death. Subordinate Chapter ThreeThe smell of something horrid rose greatly to great unwilling nostrils, a sign of something that flicked by an imagination filled with horror. There was a cry and then silence, the building falling apart from such a vicious attack. Soldiers had come on that day, took away all that was known and now everything had changed, the walls no longer filled with old drawings that were drawn by children that were there before them but by the hands of the darkest art, arson. The art that ruled all others except for death, the two being like that of a partnership, teaming up against life itself and all that it cherished. Subordinate Chapter TwoIn the east end of the mountainside was a cave, the walls all showing a previous battle of the sorts amongst wild animals that lived within the cave. The cave was now empty, just an empty shell of what it once was. The sounds of approaching footsteps were rapidly growing louder, small rocks falling from the ancient stalagmites that held the cave together. The signs of human life hiding out here were also evident within the cave, the remains of small fires still giving off smoke. And yet there were no other signs. It was a likely chance that whoever was here before had moved on, away from all that was happening at this time, as there were no sSubordinate Chapter Two

Ruins that hadn’t exactly remained in anyone’s hearts as the monks and priests who kept it were known to be greedy, selfishly using the money that was meant to be put to good use on themselves. However, they didn’t know that everyone knew that and yet it seemed as if they weren’t really wondering why only the people who truly needed guidance turned up to seek help and advice on a current problem of theirs, usually a past sin that often contained violence and death.
